I’m writing about this gorgeous flower because the news is so upsetting.  I wouldn’t even know where to start.  I understand how an artist could become paralyzed with awareness.  It’s beyond sensible.

I just hope that I can make things that add meaning and goodness and perhaps beauty to the world.  That’s all.
